Our Leadership
With over 30 years of construction excellence and project experience exceeding $100 million, John founded Corbin Construction (previously GC Construction) on the principle of doing the right thing, regardless of cost or complexity. A 1993 graduate of the University of West Florida with a degree in Building Science, John's passion for craftsmanship began with woodworking projects alongside his grandfather. It flourished through his career journey from Atlanta back to the Florida Panhandle. His reputation is built on integrity, exceptional client relationships, and an unwavering commitment to quality that extends well beyond project completion. When not creating extraordinary homes and commercial spaces, John enjoys hunting, offshore fishing, spending time with family, and staying active in his church community.
John Corbin
Wes brings fresh energy and proven expertise to the family business, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University in May 2025 with a degree in Building Construction. A Florida native who grew up working in the family business, Wes refined his skills through prestigious internships with Reeves and Young in Atlanta and Layton Construction in Nashville, giving him the perfect blend of formal education, hands-on experience, and family mentorship. He shares his father's passion for high-end residential construction, particularly the custom finishes and sophisticated design elements that define luxury coastal living. Outside of construction, Wes enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and snow skiing—outdoor pursuits that keep him grounded in the active lifestyle he loves.
